Description
Memorial picture and card dedicated to Jane Benyon, mounted in a wooden frame.
Long description
The card reads: An Affectionate Remembrance of JANE, THE BELOVED DAUGHTER OF JOHN & SARAH BENYON. Who Died July the 27th, 1879, AGED 18 YEARS. “Death hath us sever’d, she is laid in the tomb, And sorrow hath cover’d our household with gloom; Her tone of affection nor comforting word, In the family circle no more can be heard. But her spirit hath mounted o’er the circuits of time, To don the white vestment at the banquet divine. Oh! blissful assurance and faithful record, ‘Bless’d are the dead who die in the Lord.’” INTERRED IN LLANGENNITH CHURCHYARD.
