- Long description
- Knife[.1] with single edged blade and wooden hilt and leather sheath [.2] with wood liner [.3]. The join between the blade and the hilt is bound with plaited cane. The sheath is made of a single piece of leather with two perforated holes in the back for attaching it to a belt. It is stitched down one side with string and bound with a band of plaited cane. There is a piece of shaped wood inside, which presumably is a liner for the sheath. [SM 17/05/2007]
