Description
Composite bow with nocked tips and silver birch bark covering. [ASh [OPS move] 8/8/2017]
Long description
Composite bow of the 'manchu' type. Narrow section with a flat back and a slightly curved belly. Nock present at both tips. There is a bone 'stop' near each tip on the back surface of the bow. The back is plain dark horn, whereas the belly appears to be covered with silver birch bark. The grip consists of cork over a layer of shagreen. The string is lacking. [ASh [OPS move] 8/8/2017]
