Long description
Knife [.1] with two edged blade and horn and brass handle with hide sheath [.2] and attached carrying belt. The blade is not symmetrical, one edge curves slightly more sharply towards the tip. than the other It is decorated on both surfaces with an incised diamond pattern. The handle has a crossguard with a brass end and a butt with three brass projections. The central projection is longer with incised lines on it. The sheath is stitched along the edges and has a decorative pattern stitched onto the front. An embossed carrying belt is wrapped around the the sheath. It has an iron buckle. [SM 15/06/2007]
