Curved double edged sword [.1] with wooden hilt and cattle skin sheath [.2] with carrying strap. [SM 27/04/2007]
Long description
Curved double edged sword [.1] with wooden hilt and cattle skin sheath [.2] with carrying strap. The sword has a pronounced central ridge. The area immediately either side of the ridge has been dulled or painted black. The hilt is flared at either end with a brass disc at the end. The sheath is also curved and is stitched along the back. The front shows traces of red pigment. The strap has an iron buckle for fastening it around the user. [SM 27/04/2007]
