1907.10.9Japanese bow of compound construction. Made from wood which has been lacquered. The grip section is covered with a strip of animal hide. One section towards one tip of the bow is bound with reed. The tips of the bow have been notched, onto which is tied the bowstring, which is made from twisted plant fibre covered with a black ?resin.
