Description
‘Lantern’ clock, missing its case. [CW [OPS Move] 14/7/2017]
Long description
The face is circular with a single hand which is in the form of a Fleur de Lys. The numbers are in Roman numerals and in the centre 'Le Francavire 1741' is engraved. The clock rests on four globular feet with extend into stepped columns. The clock mechanism is exposed. The top of the clock is decorated on three sides with openwork panels depicting cherubs, a coat of arms, and floral and foliage designs. For the detached domed bell see [1965.9.182 .2].
