1966.3.157.1Folding paper lantern. When closed this lantern has a U shaped section. When opened, two U shaped metal wire ends are opened around a wooden U shaped frame and meet at the top to create a round paper lantern. The main decoration is the Swiss flag (white cross on red ground) and around the sides are the crests of the Cantons. There is a metal candle socket set into the wooden U shaped section of the frame.
