Description
Bamboo tube ?pipe with incised designs.
Long description
A bamboo tube with a flat open end and a closed end from which two flattened triangular projections extend. A band of pyro-engraved triangles encircles both the open end and the closed triangular projections. The rest of the surface is decorated with intricate patterns, arranged in three parallel strips running along its length: one strip of small triangles set perpendicular to the tube, one of closely packed V-shapes running parallel to the length, and one of large triangles also running parallel. The areas between these strips are divided into upper and lower sections, filled with various motifs including triangles, dots, and sun-like designs.
