- Model wooden stool. It has a rectangular concave seat with two semicircular cut outs on each side. With two X-shaped supports, flanked by curved pillars. The base is rectangular in shape, with one linear incision near the edges. [PR [OPS move] 18/5/2017]

1884.54.55.1Model of a dugout canoe. Carved from a single curved piece of wood and decorated with red coloured resin that has been painted in the pattern of stitching along the edges, on the interior and on the underside of the boat. These are areas where traditionally the boat would have been stitched. Five supports going horizontally across the boat, two of which have plant fibre and reed tied around them for support. At one end of the boat is a length of plaited rope, which is secured to the boat. At the long thin end of the boat are a row of cockle shells on the underside of the boat suspended by plant fibre string. See 1884.54.55 .1 - .9 for the other associated parts.
