- Model wooden stool with concave, rectangular seat, ornamental oval supports and central pillar. [JC [OPS Move] 18/5/2017]
- Long description
- Model wooden stool. It has a concave, rectangular seat, flat rectangular base and a large ornamental support. The support consists of two open ovals and a central pillar. The pillar is rectangular in form and section at the base but tapers dramatically before expanding slightly again at the seat. The outer faces of the supports and pillar have vertical bands of chip carved decoration and the edges have longitudinal bands of projecting triangles. There are two cut out semicircles in the seat and two transverse grooves on the base, one either side of the rectangular platform on which the support stands. The short edges of the base are slightly scalloped. [JC [OPS Move] 18/5/2017]
