1966.3.39.2Dark wooden base of a pair of travelling candlesticks which screw together to form a carved, round box. This base is round and heavily carved. The exterior is decorated with bands of concentric circles, cross-hatching and diagonal lines. The interior is fully grooved in concentric circles. The centre is slightly conical and is decorated with bands decorated with diagonal lines.
