- Lantern of iron. Carriage lamp, one of a pair with [1940.44.4 .2 B]. Cuboid lantern with bevelled glass on two sides. Candle socket within and suspension loop on top of fluted cover. A hinged door is on one side with a roundal of red glass and a clasp on a length of wire. Jointed suspension handle at the back with springs and a cylindrical stem underneath.
