Long description
Knife with curved edged iron blade with long spiked tip and carved wooden handle. The blade curves at approximately 90 degrees to a tapering tip. It is double edged and has four blunt ended projections extending from a visible tang. The outer edge is slightly concave, the inner edge is very concave. Two large holes and a group of three smaller holes run through the blade. The blade is blackened in the centre on both surfaces. The handle consists of two flared sections separated by a carved out band approximately one third down the length of the handle. [SM 08/06/2007]
