Long description: Bone bobbin with 'A PRESENT FROM MY MOTHER 1839[?]' inscribed on the shank using drilled dots. Finished with a spangle consisting of eleven glass beads; two amber coloured, three blue, two clear, two turquoise and two pink. The larger bottom bead is clasped between two decorative pieces of metal. [JFK 2/8/2018]
