Knife, parang, with curved, expanded, single edged blade and curved, decoratively carved elephant ivory hilt. The blade is curved and blunt ended. The cutting edge is convex and the spine is concave. The hilt is curved and has a scalloped pattern carved at either end of the grip. [SM 04/01/2008]
