Long description
Sheath for a sword or keris. Made from two pieces of dark wood bound with decorated silver bands.The mouth of the sheath is missing. Below this is a large band of silver decorated with a scroll design in relief on the front. There are six further bands of silver, each decorated with an incised decoration of either flowers or feathers. The tip of the sheath is curved. [SM 31/05/2007]
