Composite bow from China with attached string. [ASh [OPS move] 27/2/2018]
Long description
Composite bow from China. The bow is made from wood, on the exterior, animal horn on the interior and decorated with gold lacquer. The grip is covered in a cream coloured cork. The back of the bow is lacquered with white and red flowers on a black ground. The string is made from cane and tightly bound silk and secured to the bow with plant fibre string. There is a green coloured pocket in the centre [to hold the pellet] of the string which is covered in a green coloured leather. [ASh [OPS move] 27/2/2018]
