Carved and wooden painted mask worn at the end of the initiation rites.
Long description
Carved and wooden painted mask worn at the end of the initiation rites. The lower lip has a lip plug. The eye holes are covered with hair which looks like eyelashes. The mask is mainly painted in red pigment. There are holes around the edge of the mask. [MJD DDF Body Arts Project 2010/2011 12/08/2010]
