1966.1.19Elliptical shaped cattle hide shield covered with black and brown hair. There are a series of rectangular perforations running in two bands vertically down the centre of the shield. Through these perforations are woven two strips of hair covered hide in contrasting colours. On the reverse there is a central wooden supporting rib which also serves as a handle.
