Silk or string twister. [SM (Verve) 25/06/2014]
Long description
Silk or string twister. A machine made to produce twisted silk or string. It comprises a rectangular base with metal rod sticking up from one end and a brass wheel with crank handle at the other end. A length of three play string is attached to the rod and three hooks on the brass wheel to demonstrate how the machine is used. [SM (Verve) 25/06/2014]
