- Long description
- Bone spangled bobbin for lace-making. Decorated with an incised bands filled with pink pigment at each end. The middle section features the name Alfred marked in pigment filled dots forming each letter. Around this there are larger pigment filled dots. The spangle is attached with wire and includes clear pink and white square beads with an opaque blue bead decorated with pink and white feathering. The top is wound with white thread and attached to a partially completed lace sample.
