- Long description
- Bone spangled bobbin for lace-making. Decorated with incised bands filled with red and blue pigment at each end. The middle section features the name William marked in pigment filled dots forming each letter set in between each incised band. On the opposite side there are two diagonal lines between each incised band. The spangle is attached with wire and string and includes clear pink and white square beads and a larger clear orange bead. The top is wound with white thread and attached to a partially completed lace sample.
