- Long description
- Wooden spangled bobbin for lace-making. Decorated with cylindrical expansions and a group of incised bands at the upper end, the expansions have diagonal incisions, possibly to have held inlaid wire. The spangle is attached with wire and string and includes clear round yellow beads and a square clear white bead. The top is wound with white thread and attached to a partially completed lace sample.
