- Long description
- Wooden spangled bobbin for lace-making. Decorated with cylindrical expansions and a group of incised bands at the upper end, the expansions have diagonal incisions, possibly to have held inlaid wire. The spangle is attached with wire and includes clear pink and white beads with a round yellow bead decorated with blue and white feathering. The top is wound with white thread and attached to a partially completed lace sample.
