Bow string trap, made from a curved piece of split bamboo with a plant fibre string. One end of the bamboo has a notch and the other end has a hole. The string is knotted to the notched end, passes through the hole and is knotted around a stick. The thorn projects through the stick and the hole.[SM 05/11/2007]
