1945.9.22Shield of animal hide, with domed central boss and flattened rim with an inclined outer edge. The surface is embossed with geometric designs. The inside of the shield is covered with plain hide. There is a hide bound handle with upturned sides attached with knotted strips of hide threaded through perforations in the surface.
