- Knife [.1] parang, with long curved single edged blade and wooden sheath [.2] bound with four bands of plaited cane. The knife has a blade with a rounded tip. The wooden hilt is bound with a band of plaited cane near the blade and has a rounded projection on one side. The sheath is made from two pieces of wood bound together with cane with a plant fibre rope/string carrying loop. [SM 31/05/2007]
