Long description
Dagger with two edged blade and carved horn handle that has three shaped protrusions at the butt. The blade is blackened in the centre and is asymmetrical - one edge tapers more sharply towards the tip. The handle has a narrow grip with two sections of strips of thin grey metal and a piece of brass sandwiched together at the end of it, near the guard. The butt is expanded and has three iron or steel protrusions. The central one is hexagonal in section and the other two are triangular in section. [SM 19/06/2007]
