Long description
Silver amulet in the form of a horse head with wings and serpents tail. There are three small bells suspended on short chains at the bottom of the figure and another bell on the horse's head. The whole thing is suspended from two silver chains. [JN 23/06/2010] Description taken from Conservation Card by Katerina Kakouli - Silver amulet in the form of a horse head with wings and a kind of serpents tail. 'Cavallo Marino'; amulet in shape of hores with 2 front feet raised, fish tail and wings. 4 bells suspended from body + head. Made in several pieces + soldered together. The main body is hollow, moulded in 2 parts + soldered. On chain. (Katerina Kakouli 14/03/02) [LKG 19/02/2009]
