- Long description
- Bone lace-making bobbin stained red, with bead weights strung on wire at one end. The bobbin is carved from bone and decorated with incised bands. The decorative bands on the bobbin have been stained green. One end of the bobbin has been perforated with a small hole through which a length of metal wire has been threaded. The wire has been strung with nine glass beads of different sizes; two pink, two clear, one blue, one yellow, one black, one red and one pink and white. [FB 10/02/2015]
