Long description
Carved wooden headrest. The seat of the headrest is concavely curved and is sub-rectangular in shape, narrowing at the ends. The base is circular and cracked, and rises slightly to a point in the centre between the two arms that attach the base to the seat. The legs are triangular in section and are slightly curved. The outer face of one leg is carved with interlacing scroll design, and the other with interlacing scrolls and a section of square dots. [EH [OPS Move] 17/3/2017]
