- Long description
- Circular hide shield with 4 brass bosses and painted floral and heart-shaped designs on a black background. The back of the shield has a padded square of textiles printed with a diamond-shaped design in red, yellow and blue. There are four iron rings attached to the shield through the corners of the textiles pad. A strip of light coloured woven ?woollen tape with a blue stripe is looped through two of the iron rings and the ends are knotted together. [SM (Verve) 06/03/2014]
