Long description
The blade has a short projection near the base. The tip is broader than the rest of the blade, triangular and with a small hole, resembling a bird's head with eye and beak. [El.B 4/6/2007]

Mountmorres is probably 6th Viscount William Geoffrey Bouchard de Montmorency Mountmorres (1872-1936), who embarked on a journey through the Congo in 1904. He also wrote papers on West Africa: 'Maize, cocoa and rubber: Hints on their production in West Africa', 'The commercial possibilities of West Africa' and 'The Congo Independent State, a report'.
