Long description
Carved and painted spear. Made from wood. The head has carved barbs along one side with a plant fibre tassel beneath. The head and shaft is decorated with incised geometric designs coated in a white pigment. The shaft is socketed and bound with string into a hollow bamboo butt, the string is painted with red and white chevrons. The bamboo is painted white. [AB [OPS move] 25/6/2018]
