- Women's brown leather boots [.1-.2] with bright pink laces and decorative machine stitching. The soles and heels are pegged with wood. The uppers are lined with woolly textiles. A piece of patent leather covers the toe caps at the end and a small piece is at the back of the heels. The boots have blue/green ?plastic-coated eyelets [SM (Verve) 27/03/2014]

This object was seen by the Archaeological Leather Group on 25th April 2014. It was noted that the laces are made of 'pink-tape' used to bind legal papers. The sole is finely made and although the heel looks scuffed the sole does not show wear. Could be a demonstration boot. [HR 13/05/2014]
