Long description
Knife with two edged, obtuse angle ended blade with a hole through it and a wooden hilt bound with copper wire. The blade edges taper out from the hilt to become parallel along much of the length before narrowing to the obtuse ended tip. The blade is decorated on both surfaces with a row of stamped dots and with incised zigzag patterns. The grip is bound with flattened copper wire and the expanded butt/pommel is bound with twisted copper wire and studded with copper alloy roundheaded tacks. [SM 03/09/2007]
